History of the Black Knights

Some have called them zealots through the years, but this was just an outsiders inept pericope. Fear of the unknown has often driven a mann to madness. Albeit, no opinion is biblical and no truth can be accepted as thus unless it has a proper source to support its claim.

The Black Knights were said to be above emotion. They were the peacekeepers of the night, enforcers of the Blood; that protected the Queen, her Kingdom and people and secured safety for all citizens in her land. They worshiped The Two-Fold Queen as the true Lady; and even though many citizens did not believe in unseen entities, the Black Knights were a very spiritual people and they made their sacrifices accordingly.

Upon their Adolescent ages, they were sent to the wilderness for The Queen's Call. They had to endure an entire month together in the wilds of Elyria; in hopes of learning how to overcome fear and live; only then could they be considered Knight's of Darkholm. Indeed few returned from the harsh environments and those that did were honored by the Monarch herself.

One must remember that a Black Knight is not a number but a vital part to the Kingdom—indeed it is a rare title to uphold. They are great warriors, honored by the people for their combat versatility, also respected as famous bankers who understand economics; they are also adventures, fearless souls who thrive for the greater opportunities in Elyria. But above all, they are a family, an invaluable intelligence that has learned how to utilize their many, many talents.

Black Knight Requirements

• Must be 18+ to join no exceptions.

• A mic will be required eventually once the game launches, but Discord is definitely a requirement now during pre-launch, Alphas and Betas.

• This group is PVP oriented so you must be willing to go out of the walls and get stuff done when called. The original group once the game hits in Exposition we will go out and survive together on the trial we call: "The Queen's Call"...this will test our fighting, survival (knowledge of the land) and endurance techniques as a group and if we survive together we will have many stories to share to our children. Afterwards, those Knight's who decide to join later in the game's full launch, will have to complete the same trials to become a Black Knight.

• We will have a Stronghold at launch, Ironholde will be one of the twin towers in Darkholm, dedicated to our Queen and defense of the Duchy first, then Kingdom. All Knights will specialize in combat techniques, siege engineering, map exploration and first aid/survival.

• Light RP will be an option, but we will be sociable people like a real family; yet we will be called to fight and fighting will be our primary purpose. Albeit, we plan to have our Knighthood self sufficient, able to take on trades like crafting, carpentry, cooking and mercantile. We plan to have settlers in our Barony to help keep the place in pristine condition and to keep us as a thriving stronghold.

• Lastly, we want quality over quantity and this position as a Black Knight is preferably for a player who is gentry and below in title; with less responsibility and more freedom to travel and do things more adventurously.
