Hail Elyrians!

It is once more a time of shinies and therefore it's time for us to share an interesting peek at our work! Last month we showcased Al'tifali armors, and since there are still some armor sculpts we haven't revealed, i figured I'd carry the armor theme though at least one more shiny day, but that this time we'd examine the armor of one of the Virtori tribes, the Shields of Virtue, the Hrothi.

Here is the light armor sculpt:

Where both the Waerd and the Dras focus on mobility, the Hrothi are all about defense. They stand steadfast before their enemies, presenting an unassailable wall for the opponents to futilely crash against. They take their role as the Shields of Virtue seriously and this is always on display. Even in their light and medium armor, the individual plates that make up their armor design are cast in shapes that evoke the Hrothic shields they are famous for.

Just as it has been the case with the last few shiny offerings, these are concept sculpts and represent explorations of materials and design the content team uses to plan and optimize the final models for these items that you'll see in Chronicles of Elyria.
