@Serpentius I don't suppose you would mind extending the sale by a day or two. The first of the month is a popular pay day, and I personally am getting a large bonus on next month pay check and would love to spend some of it on your game.
so, a few questions:
If im in a biome that cant have a basement, how will i be compensated for this if i place the guildhall?
how large is the guildhall?
Can i use the Guildhall as a personal house?
is it correct that the Bakers Kit does not come with the actual oven but only the blueprint?
A few questions about the Coastal Cutter
(1) Was it always rare? And does it come in variants, such as seen in the lore, for a fishing ship?
(2) Does it come with blueprints?
(3) Will shipbuilders be able to service the requests for the ship, or is it a drop-in object?
(4) If I am a proprietor pledge will I be able to craft the coastal cutter from day 1 to service said requests?
(5) What is it the hight requirement so the Boom of the mast does not knock you overboard?
(6) How many people are needed to crew the coastal cutter?
(7) Anything else the players should know about ships?

Some answers for you Zairick.
It isn't rare so much as a limited item in the store. I imagine it will be available for EP during Expo, but having limited items is a good way for SbS to generate income in the meantime. As far as outfitting it for fishing, I imagine if you add fishing equipment to it, it becomes a fishing ship!
Things in the store come with exactly what is described. For example, the guild hall will come with blueprints, and materials to build it. The Coastal Cutter will be a standalone thing redeemable at an appropriate vendor after Expo starts.
Yes and no. Items in the store are not drop in items so much as items you will redeem from a vendor. Drop in items, to my knowledge, are just items purchased with EP.
Whether players can be vendors or not isn't something I am aware of, but like I said I don't think you can be the labor for the shipbuilding of these redeemable items.
I frankly do not know :D However an informed comparison can be made in the link you provided here if you look at the picture that has an average Neran in it you can compare the image and see where he is from deck to boom.
An informed guess would be one is doable, as it appears you can steer the rudder with one burly guy and have everything else in fixed positions. 2 would probably make it easier on you though.
There are a great variety! People that want to explore sailing are diving into bigger risks with bigger rewards and imho the wealthiest traders are going to be the ones who fully utilize coastal and river trading.
Thank you Labbe I will add this to my information on COE ships! :D

Question, Can we get a screen shot of the cutters berthing section and lower space forward of midsection.
I would love many of these items, even put them in my cart and removed them, but....there is not enough general information to be able to make an informed purchase, as mentioned about, the guildhouse in a swamp, how will that work, will a stable be useless in a swamp? Will there be enough dry land for animal travel? How resistant would said dog be to a swamp environment, since dras can only live there being immune to everything. Would a rowboat be useful in swamp waters or would we need a shallow bottom barge or flat bottom? Some items are easy to decide, but so many that would be great additions, have little information in relation to biomes it makes buying them a massive gamble, yes you could give them away, but seriously, I can only afford to do things for my account, not buy and send away.
If I buy the guild hall plans as a Hrothi, will I get the subterranean version of the guild hall or the regular one?
Hey everyone!
We've had a lot of questions about the new store items, so I've attempted (with the assistance of Snipehunter) to answer them for you:
Q: Is the blueprint for the stables and guild hall specifically for that design or will the design match the tribe and/or biome it is built in?
A: When you unpack the bundle from your account inventory to your character inventory, the blueprint and style of the building will be specific to the biome you are in. Does this mean you could build a Hrothi style guild hall in Neran lands? Probably not, as there are specific requirements for a few of the tribe's structures such as the Waerd or the Kypiq. So while it is possible to gain and construct a building that is not native to that biome, it won't work for those that have specific foundation requirements.
EurickDM asked: "Are the 4 different simple card games described in the rule book in the Gaming kit unique to Elyria?"
A: They will be Elyrian card games.
KalTheo asked "Can we get an interior shot of the Vardo wagon?"
Yes:
Goros asked: "Would it be possible to keep those birds in your house or store/business building?"
Answer: Yes, but in the cage.
TalRoth asked "Can we load the Vardo wagon on the Cutter?"
Answer: There is no restriction based on the fact that the Cutter is a boat. So as long as the Vardo would fit and you could get it in/onto the boat, it should be fine.
Gwyn asked "Can the gaming kit be used for minigames/ in game RNG?"
Answer: Yes! That's the point!
Lodestone asked "Can the stables hold larger animals such as the Ursaphants? Could you house more than one animal per stall if they were small like dogs?"
Answer: The stalls in the stables are designed to house a medium-sized animal or smaller. Small animal answer: Yes, but they may not like it!
Athorias asked a few questions:
Q1. "If i'm in a biome that cant have a basement, how will i be compensated for this if i place the guildhall?"
A1: If you claim the guildhall in a biome that doesn't allow basements, you will instead gain an outbuilding or other appropriate storage spaces that are of equivalent size.
Q2: How large is the guildhall?
A2: The Guildhall is a large two-story building. However, the size may vary depending on the biome style.
Q3: Can i use the Guildhall as a personal house?
A3: Sure, it's just a building.
Q4: Is it correct that the Bakers Kit does not come with the actual oven but only the blueprint?"
A4: That is correct.
Zairick asks a few questions as well:
Q1: Was the Coastal Cutter always rare?
A1: Yes
Q2: Does it come with blueprints?
A2: No
Q3: Will shipbuilders be able to service the requests for the ship, or is it a drop-in object?
A3: You will have to go to a shipwright and claim it.
Q4: If I am a proprietor pledge will I be able to craft the coastal cutter from day 1 to service said requests?
A4: No, it takes quite a bit of effort to become a shipwright.
Q5: What is it the height requirement so the Boom of the mast does not knock you overboard?
A5: The boom is fairly low, but on the other hand the deck is far beneath the gunwales. So there should be plenty of clearance for small to medium-sized people. Otherwise, you'll have to duck.
Q6: How many people are needed to crew the coastal cutter?
A6: 1 person on the wheel/rudder, 1 person on the steerboard, 2 people on the sails. So the minimum crew size is 3 or 4, depending on if you use the steerboard.
Q7: Anything else the players should know about ships?
A7: Shanties not included!
Elek asked "Can we get a screen shot of the cutters berthing section and lower space forward of midsection."
A: If they aren't in this thread then we don't currently have them available.
Merek_Rainier asked: "Are these set at the price they'll be for black friday/cyber monday?"
A: Yes, the prices won't change. We have promotions, but not typically sales, as lowering the price on something previously offered lessens the value of those who backed us earliest.
I hope this helped answer some of your questions!
Also, as a last minute share, here's a shot of the Vardo open for business!

Question about the Coastal Cutter!
About how many Knots can we expect it to reach under favorable conditions?

Question about the Coastal Cutter!
About how many Knots can we expect it to reach under favorable conditions?
A: About 3-5 knots
"Stupid questions make more sense than stupid mistakes."
That was amazing, Thank you!
Also, do ships have weight capacity? If so what's the deadweight tonnage of the coastal cutter?
Also for those who are interested a Knot is 1.15 miles or almost 1.85 km per hour. 3-5 knots = 3.45 - 5.75 mph = 5.55 - 9.25 km per hour
(6 mph is equivalent to a human jogging speed) if you think that's slow remember that a boat does not get fatigued, so it's sailing at that speed overnight).
Note: Old sailing ships in the "19th and early 20th centuries averaged between 5 – 8 knots on average depending on the size of the ship," and COE is very early medieval times (5th to 15th century).

Thank you Serpentius for answering my previous question along with several other excellent questions posted by other Elyrians. I am also wondering about the number of otterbears that would be required to pull a Vardo wagon, one or two? Are they a large or medium sized animal?
Thanks
Greetings fellow Elyrians!
