Hear me folks, and listen to the great story i'm about to narrate. This is the tale of Maan whom, while seeking glory, found their home. Behold the birth of the marvellous Rhylen and its soldiers, and contemplate its majesty, rising from the ashes !
They are standing behind the hills
Wind changing noises in whispers
Landscape whiteness their spirit fills
While ending their meals and prayers
After the walk in freezing cold
Coming in rank to face the gate
War cries from men, brave, fierce and bold
They are announcing the foe's fate !
From the farthest mountains
To far beneath the deepest ground
Rhylen's echo remains
'cause it's bound to the icy land
Ride to the white rivers
Until the sun starts to melt snow
You’ll feel those cold shivers
When riders strike their final blow !
The baron leads on his black horse
Follows an army of heroes
Storming through muddy fields with force
To walls, under storms of arrows
Defenders are being outskilled
Falling under the blades of steel
They are forged by the greatest guild
Just as the soldier's strenght is real !
From the farthest mountains
To far beneath the deepest ground
Rhylen's echo remains
'cause it's bound to the icy land
Ride to the white rivers
Until the sun starts to melt snow
You’ll feel those cold shivers
When riders strike their final blow !
Battering ram knocks down the gate
Cavalry spills out through the street
Riding and fighting with wild hate
Cutting throats in ennemies's meat
These poor wretches dropped their blunt swords
Rip flags and let prisonners shake !
Behold banners of mighty lords
Upon the great millennial lake !
From the farthest mountains
To far beneath the deepest ground
Rhylen's echo remains
'cause it's bound to the icy land
Ride to the white rivers
Until the sun starts to melt snow
You’ll feel those cold shivers
When riders strike their final blow !
The fort stands, proud of its story
Households bow down before winners
Tyrants kneel, it's time for glory
It’s now a new place for traders
Here comes midnight, time for the feast
Keenly partying to wash the pain
Drinking in taverns, like wild beast
Behind walls of the great Rhylen
Special thanks to Rhylen's citizens, Meass, Lucien Lachance and Zblexx for their participation and their help
