In Elyria we are the Archduchy of Ljón, a Viking and Anglo-Saxon inspired community and realm by old Norse and the series of Vikings, the Last Kingdom, Games of Thrones and fans of Arthur, Lord of the Rings and Elder Scrolls. The Realm that will develop Brudvir Lore, Culture and Norse roleplay and fighting in Elyria EU. A place to meet other cold-hardened Brudvir and it's inspired menn and womenn who live in the northern lands of the Taiga and Alpine Forest in Selene. Currently consists of two Duchies, the Duchy of Ljón and the Duchy Ljóngaard.
A Duchy is a large place, some have said that it could be the size of 24 Skyrim maps. As such we need a wide diversity of playstyles. In addition to teamwork we aim to encourage and spark the creativity of its members. Creative projects and guilds create the atmosphere and character of the realm.
Ljóns Jarðvegur intends to be a northern sea port to the realm. It will be the location of Schools and Universities where players can come and learn any skill in order to advance more quickly. New technologies will be researched. It is home to grand and prestigious Markets selling and trading goods from all over the World. Due to its long seafaring tradition Ljón has made itself a name as fair Traders and Warriors of the cold North down to the southern mystic Lands. Home to a unique martial arts fighting style, proudly learned by the mightiest Warriors of Ljón. There will be unique group of fighters who aim to run expeditions and raids to distant lands in search of treasures, trades, reputations and challenges. Each county within the realm focuses on a certain aspect of the world, it comes down to the clan and community it holds, may it be in commerce, processing, production, infrastructure, religion, politics and military.
The Realm is ruled by the Archduke Rojax Lyon governing from his seat in the seaside town of Ljónshöfn in the county of Ljóns Jarðvegur. Sitting on the coast he has clear passage to all of the world, open for everyone to come and meet our folk, culture and tradition.

Rulers and Holds
The Archduke is the sovereign Ruler of the Ljón realm with a Brigade of more than 5000 menn.
Each county and hold in the realm is ruled by a Count, Earl or Jarl. A noble Chieftain who follows the Margrave, a territorial Governor and count coordinator within the realm representing the voice of his people and voted by them throughout the Moot of his grand domain following the Archduke with a Battalion of 500 menn. The Earl makes up the auxiliary company and rules a more military focused county as his counterpart, the Count and the Jarl would be an Earl with the Archduke's backing in military affairs to protect the realm with a company of more than 100 menn. The Viscount is the second of the Count, the trusted regent of his domain.
Advisors of the realm in crucial and peaceful times are the Thanes, guiding and advising its Ruler for all kinds of situations. The right hand of the Archduke and regents of the realm, embodying his wrath or love and shall he ever be unattainable, are the Elders acting as seconds in command of the Realm.
Settlements and Dens
Each settlement and den in the realm is governed by a Lendr, Hauldr or Baron who follows the Count, a noble Chieftain within the realm leading the people of his domain and its several settlements. The Hauldr makes up the auxiliary platoon and governs a more military focused settlement as his counterpart, the Lendr and the Baron would be a Hauldr with the Archduke's backing in military affairs to protect the realm with a platoon of more than 25 menn.
Army and Warriors
Most devoted Warriors, the Wiga tend to live on the borders and coasts of the Ljón Realm. Prepared to follow the call of the Hauldr and Earls as auxiliary and reserved military of the Archduke, they make themselves ready with own armor and weapons, organized by their officers, the Gedrihts.
Barons are backed by the Archduke, they would be supplied with armor and weapons from tax money, and organized with the help of the royal officers. The Huskarls follow their baron and lead a Squad of 12 or more menn. The Fyrd are the official warriors of the Royal Army.
Free and contracted menn make up the Ljón army. Some Leaders without political governance have their own War Clans and may join the Ljón Banner of the Archduke as Merks, clanleaders of more than 100 menn or as Rauders, clanleaders of more than 25 menn. The Vanir are the elite warriors of Ljón, they can act independently from any clan.
Citizen and Folk
The Citizen of Ljón aim to follow a free life to still their desire of freedom, may it be in challenges, wars, craftsmanship or research, they may find it in every possible aspect there is and come together if the time comes to band and hold the banner to fight for the realm. The freeman join the Banner of Ljón as Wiga or Fyrd to follow the warring call of the Archduke Rojax Lyon to fight for the realm.
Dotting the country side will be strongholds composed of Warriors and Orders, you may find more often in the southern Borders and Coasts.
Ljón prides itself on his naval power as one of the best sailors, expeditioners, smiths and shipbuilders there is, from metalworking all the way to woodworking from the deep forests and ores of the Taiga and Alpine.

• Unique military organizations
Warrior orders devoted to combat, religion, raids, and skill. This structure allows for different play styles and groups to find their place in Ljón and to be as free as they wish.
• Religious orders
Orders devoted to the Gods and Spirits and to share their belief. Ljón aims to have many chapels and places of worship across the land. This will serve as places for role play and other services such as Alchemy, Healing and Astrology.
• Unique combat style
As early backers of CoE, we own a developer design experience to create our own combat style. The package was originally called Chimera. Ljón will be home to this unique combat style and those who know the style will be among our elite forces.
• Sophisticated Land and Naval trade system
Our land trade system will be clever and laid down with quality roads to support long distances with heavy cargo, as well as our naval trade system with strategic ports to hold long distances quicker and secured.
• Health care system
We will have a health care system for our players, to govern healthiness, cure diseases and create potions for survivability. The goal is to have clinics spread throughout our lands were players can go and receive healing. This clinics and those who run them will receive state assistance to run and manage them.
• Social system to help new players
There will be a social system to guide new players within our realm and to give them an educated approach to the game.

Style of leadership is to listen to and encourage individual players in their interests and projects. Leaders will mentor players to take on positions of leadership when the game launches.
We will focus on several areas to grow our economy:
Building Infrastructure. We will focus on roads, bridges, and ports. This will allow merchants to quickly move resources from their origin to centralized strategically placed markets. These trade routes must be secured and placed strategically via coordination of the chieftains within the realm to allow safe trading from raids, wars and bandits.
Increase demand. Build the population by creating a fun place to be with lots of activities, including carnivals, arenas and games of chance.
Focus on research and development. It will be new technologies that will usher in economic prosperity.
Fair taxes. Create taxes that generate enough income for infrastructure but do not represent a burden for citizens.
Fair laws. Don’t create laws which hamper economic development. I have heard a Duke say he was going to ban weapons in his Duchy. This would clearly hamper economic development and has other inherent flaws.

is run by the High Council of the Counts and the Margraves which is chaired by the Archduke. A Parliament of Skalds, which reports to the Council, serves to administer and coordinate various aspects of the realm as well as to craft and propose laws to the Council.
The Parliament and Moot consists of the following Skald positions.
Skald of Diplomacy
Coordinates diplomatic relations within and outside the realm.
Skald of Coin
Oversees the banking operations and budget for the realm. Produces quarterly reports as to the realm expenses and revenues.
Skald of Justice
Appoints judges and supervises the courts within the realm. Oversees, local police forces and jails.
Skald of Interior
Is responsible for the natural resources of the realm. This includes surveying and mapping out these resources and for preservation and conservation concerns.
Skald of Agriculture
Studies and understands the agricultural needs of the realm and ensures proper planning and development of agricultural resources.
Skald of Commerce
This skald is responsible for promoting economic growth within the realm. They study the economic forces in the region and gather data helpful in decision making. They oversee technological development for the realm.
Skald of Medicine
In charge of the medical system for the realm. We aim to have a health care system across the realm which is supported by the Archduke. This skald will also oversee medical research.
Skald of Social Services
Oversees orphanages and social services. Social services will include coordinating donations and alms to the poor as well as orphans. This will ensure that orphans get a proper start in life as well the poor can get a fresh start.
Skald of Defense
By default this is the duty of the Archduke but may be delegated at some time. Coordinates the fighting forces of the realm.
Skald of Development
In charge of public buildings within the realm. This will include the writing of contracts of occupancy for current developments and the planning of future developments.
Skald of Transportation
Is responsible for the planning and construction of roads and bridges.
Skald of Education
This skald will oversee universities and teaching facilities.

Mystic lands coming from the Darkfall era, one shall never be safe or feel at home if you haven’t earned the right to do so. With a strong scheme for PvP this domain aims to follow the principle of the survival of the fittest. Ruled by Count Rizzit.
Heron’s Hall is the seat of the Heron Point County, serving as a forward hold of the Ljón Realm, in the Selene server. We have a strong bond with the County of Ströndgaard. The Heron House’s motto: Legis Regalia Servat, translates into “The Royal Guards,” serving as both a rallying cry and a bulwark for the goals of all that call this barony home. Whether in the shadows of court intrigue, on the field of battle, or in the banker’s war room, we will always stand as the front guard to the Archduke interests. Ruled by Count WiseScarab.
The county was founded by a viking themed clan that settled in the region and grew into what it holds today. Main focus of the county is on training it’s warriors, and on trade in which supplies are shipped out to increase the wealth of the county. The secondary focus is on ship building, and logging. The clan also looks for opportunities to explore new areas with their ships where they will bring back goods through either trade or their trusty axes. Ruled by Count Magnus Brandr.

Main economic focus will be on producing vessels of all sizes, and having an entire production line for tools, weapons, and wood carvings. Likewise Weirmist will have small elite force military wise.
