Counts what are you going to do with your rich villa's?

So my villa which I took (cause I was dumb and didn't see that it said villa lol) is super wealthy and has all the good resources plus is on a river.

Is it in the count's best interests to upgrade these villa's into cities or just leave them as tiny rich settlements?

Pffft villas, that's so last year. We own GRAND villas now!

Also did you mean, Villages / Towns instead of villas? To answer the question concerning upgrading a settlement instead of leaving it small though - I guess it'll depend on how much your area is capable to sustain. You don't want to grow past your capabilities! Unless you have support from other settlements nearby.

I meant villa lol. My places is resource rich farmland basically with a river next to an ocean. Plus I am capable to a large population.

Of course I plan to buy more land to add to the settlement before launch but yeah I think mine is the richest non city/capital in the county.

It sounds like you mean "village" -- which is the settlement size above hamlet -- rather than "villa" -- which is a furnished builds counts get for placement in their town/city.

So excited for my rich villa.. can I upgrade my grand villa to a rich grand villa now? Being that I'm a Duke I should have a rich grand mansion at this point though.. let's be honest.

Seemed like a language issue, but one that could cause confusion.

On point, if your sustainability is still high, you can probably expect a good amount of immigration from larger cities with low sustainability soon after launch. I would spend EP on building housing and other facilities for such immigrants.

Alternatively, I think you can buy NPCs with EP and increase village size that way.

I don't know if the civic structures required for each step increase can be purchased. I don't think they are listed in the EP store.

In any case, EP is probably very necessary for anyone with a domain.
