Vera-Borg is the home of the Völsung Clan and capital of Völsung County. It is home to a wide variety of skilled craftsmen and thriving businesses, including some of the most noteworthy breeder's in all of Elyria. It is a place of prosperity and security for all who reside and visit here.

Goals

My goal for Vera-Borg is to establish a bustling county capital with a strong military garrison to protect it.

It will be a place where one can find whatever they may need and feel protected as they go about their daily activities. A place where someone can become a skilled craftsmen and turn that craft into a flourishing business. A place where merchants will come from all over Elyria to buy and sell their wares. And a place that, should it be threatened, will have the means to defend itself.

Home to the Dýrr af Völsung

I plan to establish a breeding “conglomerate” if you will, the Dýrr af Völsung. The Dýrr Headquarters will be located in Vera-Borg. Breeder’s throughout Völsung will work together and share knowledge to further our craft. By working together we hope to be well known throughout Vornair and all of Elyria for our breeding stock. It is my hope that this will be very profitable for the individual breeder's, Vera-Borg, and Volsung County as a whole.

To protect all of this I plan to have a strong garrison located within Vera-Borg, including my house guard. During times of war these men and women will do what is required to protect Vera-Borg and all of Völsung County. In times of peace however, they will act in a variety of ways; such as escorts for merchant caravans, dealing with banditry and other outlaws, and other tasks that require the aid of a skilled warrior.

Reside in Vera-Borg!

Vera-Borg will be predominantly Brudvir in populace. Ideally Vera-Borg will have strong natural defenses, be located near or on a major waterway and have access to one or several natural resources (lumber, minerals, etc.) Until we know more about the land and actually select where Volsung County will be nothing is guaranteed. I am however confident we will be able to attain something close to our desires for location.

We welcome all play styles and backgrounds. Vera-Borg will be dedicated to seeing its citizens flourish in all walks of life. Bustling trade, elite crafters, places to meet up with your friends and to hold celebrations, and a place where all can feel safe and secure as they go about their day to day activities.
