In this class you will learn the art of potion making, from simple cures to the more deadly poisons. Your semester project will be to create your own unique concoction and use it successfully in front of the class, as well as keep and maintain your own farm throughout the year.
In this class you will go out into the field and learn about creatures both friendly and not so friendly. Your semester project will be to successfully tame and care for a creature.
In this class you will study the planets and constellations. You will also learn how to track, not to get lost, and create maps based upon your surroundings. Your semester project will be to survey an area of your choosing and map it out, as well as construct a star chart that can be used by travelers.
In this class you will learn how to survive in the wild. Your final project will be to survive in the forest for an undetermined period of time.
In this class you will learn how to make paper and how to mass print books. Your final project will be to craft a book from scratch and mass print copies of said book.
In this class you will learn how to cook various meals, from simple rice and bread dishes to complex gourmet meals. You will also learn how to make various types of alcohol and other fermented liquids. Your semester project will be to craft your finest brew, as well as prepare a banquet for the staff as a class.
In this class you will learn how to construct various buildings, from a shack to a large commercial building. Your semester project will be to build an abode for yourself within the Dominion.
In this class you will go into the forests and learn about the wild fauna and learn how these plants interact with the body. Your semester project will be helping to cure a sick person.
In this class you will not only learn how to fight, but you will also learn how to create and repair your own weapons. A brief overview of each weapon type will be taught. Your semester project will be to create your own weapon, maintain it, and defeat your professor in a mock battle with said weapon.
Love this idea as well! Do you think you may expand into Bardic Skill training or would that be more along the lines of Solaire Academy? I know several of these subjects could be applied to bardic arts, like the surveying, cartography, weapon, & survival skills.
