Does anybody knows when it will be decided which king gets his specific part of the map?
It will be during Domain and Settlement Selection, which Caspian stated in Discord yesterday will happen before tax season. So anytime between today and February-ish.
(Usual take discord comments with a grain of salt disclaimer)
Glad to see the map I voted for was the one chosen, I would love to set up my smithy in one of the middle regions and have constant trade from both sides of the continent.
Not the map I voted but I can work with it. The biome I like it is very nicely proportioned . It is in the wrong position for my own set of mind. Anyway we are stuck with this map. Best option is adapting to it.

Ja, das Raster stimmt. Die Maßeinheit deckt sich mit der Vermessung durch die Tintenklecksgilde
Yes, the scale is true. The measurement is the same as proven by Inkdot Guild and used, even if our's has a grid with 10 km distance
Kingdoms have been selected. Time for an updated official map?

When I look at maps of the real world there is one thing that has been at the heart of almost all nations: rivers. Rivers such as the Nile, Danube, Seine, Thames, Mississipi etc have served as both the main trading highways, routes to expansion and natural barriers. The map appears to show only short rivers with none that reach from the mountains to the coast; are such rivers planned? This would make settlements at river mouths or crossing points not only perfect for settlement and growth but also ripe for plunder.
Yerk Pitsniffer, besides what you see on the maps there will not be more. Only shallow water can change the landscape a bit (although we do not know exactly how deep that is; we should find out). Still, there is a lot of potential without a big river; true, a bit harder to transport things, but very possible.
Respect and trust!
