The City of Clessidria is planning on being a coastal port located on the edge of the Duchy of Prismatia. As the capital of the duchy, Clessidria will be placed where trade routes can be accessed by surrounding areas through ocean travel.

O weary one, you have traveled long and far. Why not stop at the beautiful port city of Clessidria?
Stumbling along, it's trees and brush as far as the eye can see. What was that silly saying, you can't see the forest because all of the trees are in the way? That never made sense to you before today.
You trip over a branch and fall flat on your face for the thousandth time. Bloody and caked in mud, you are rather irritated and just wish you could get to your destination... but wait, where were you going again?
Hours later, you finally make it out of the trees. You would kiss the ground, but you've face-planted far too many times for that to have any value.
You've landed just outside a port city. There are many folks bustling around inside. A suspicious one, you'd normally turn around and go back the way you came, but you're not about to go through that hedge hell again.
A woman with red hair tied back into neat braids and wearing a long, grass coloured dress. You try not to look at the dress, for you fear you will puke if you see any shade of green within the rest of your lifetime.
The woman softly says "O weary one, you have traveled long and far. Why not stop at the beautiful port city of Clessidria?"
You quickly agree, anything to get that sight of green out of your face. The woman quickly rushes you to a long house, where there are many flowers decorating massive tubs of water.
The woman leaves you to yourself; you look left and right before peeling off your clothes and jumping into the nearest large tub.
Relaxing, you've forgotten why you even came here. You decide you never want to leave.

Hello, my name is Sage Alluvial "Alvy" Maris. Most call me Sage, but some also call me Alluvial and some even still, Alvy. I think I'm hilarious, but hey, they say looks aren't everything, right?
My first Pokemon game was Yellow, and my first PC game was Diablo. I was 3. I clearly didn't know what was going on in the game. All I remember is I really liked the way the teleportation portals looked so I'd always use my dad's scrolls to open them everywhere. He didn't like that.
I've been an avid PC gamer ever since. I know some people groan at the PC Master Race mantra, but really, a PC was all I had for a while, so I've grown attached to playing games on it. Even when I lived in that house where the PC shut off every time the AC came on. It was a game in of itself to try and save progress or stay away from a battle when you could hear it kicking up.
Anyway, enough of me trying to be funny. I joined CoE because the head of my Black Desert Online guild wouldn't stop talking about it. Finally decided to check it out, and it seemed pretty great. That was back in 2016 or so. I've hopped a few places since then, but overall I've made some great friends in our little turtle crawl to the release of CoE.
I became a duchess so my friends and I would have a place to go, and all I really want to do is have fun with my friends in a community that we built up ourselves. If that sounds interesting to you, go ahead and give us a hollar over in the Duchy discord!
