At the heart of the County of Sunward is the City of Agora.
Our goal for this city is for it to become famous in the surrounding duchies as a trading centre specialising in rare and exotics goods from all over Elyria. This city will have a middle eastern feel to it. A giant bazaar of exotic items for sale with lots of visitors.
Initially, players of all professions are welcome to come and make Agora their home, but over time we will set limitations based on our requirements. But to start with we will certainly need merchants, crafters of all sorts, guards and administrators. We also need players to farm the surrounding land, hunt, fish, mine stone and chop down trees!
As a county we are sworn to the Duchy of Skyslope and Kingdom of Tryggr. But unless our Duchy or Kingdom requires us to do otherwise our stance will initially be neutral to all surrounding settlements, counties, duchies and kingdoms in Elyria.
But we are not a city in isolation! Like every other settlement and county in Elyria we will need the support of the wider lands to survive and prosper. We will quickly set up trade routes and diplomatic relations with our nearest counties and duchies, and do everything we can to support the other duchies in the Kingdom of Tryggr.

We are currently welcoming most professions to settle in Agora.
While the focus of this city is trade and providing a secure home for many other professions, CoE is a PvP game and in times of war we expect everyone to take up arms in our defence. That said, we hope that our sister organisation the Lux Watch will protect the city 95% of the time and leave you free to focus on your chosen professions.
If your play style IS PvP focused, although there should be opportunities for PvP exploring areas away from our city, instead, we recommend that you join the Lux Watch.
If you wish to specialise as a trader or merchant then join the Lux Arcana (Trade Guild).

Skyslope forms the southern border of the Kingdom of Tryggr. Like our sister duchies to the North, East and West of us, we are considered the "bread basket" of the Kingdom. Our warm climate but ample water means our duchy offers abundant farmland.
To the south of us lies the Kingdom of Nirath. A region in turmoil as its scattered rulers vie for control of this vast expanse of desert and steppe, but also rich in resources.
At the time of writing this Skyslope is still an unsettled region. We are the wild frontier between the more populated northern lands of Tryggr and wild-south that is Nirath!
We already have good relations with the soon-to-be County of Ravensreach to the SW of us and the city of The Pass to the NW of us, and we hope many will follow.

The County of Sunward is being set up the Lux Arcana gaming community. Founded in 2004, we have a core leadership that has over 15 years experience running MMO guilds.
Our primary goal in Lux is always to provide a well organised and drama free community for members to enjoy playing a game. We aim to be in the top 30% of guilds in terms of in-game achievements and success but always keeping it fun. We understand that most of our members have real lives, families and other interests as well, and those take priority.
We are also not a guild that dies suddenly in-game because the leadership goes inactive. Leaders and officers are free to leave whenever they wish, but as a community we always plan ahead for this and ensure our in-game activities can continue without disruption.
