The Academy of Life based in the Black Dire Lands of Aisling, it is overseen by the countess Anastasia Dramur. The Academy focuses on Agriculture and Animal Husbandry with the desire to protect the lives of animals that are at risk of becoming extinct we are a non profit based foundation working to assist farmers, breeders and herbalists.
The Academy of life seeks to protect life and find way to raise and breed animals of all kinds, with the help of its followers we wish spread thru the kingdom’s seeking animals and plants of rare nature and finding ways to tame and breed them realising some back into the wild to help maintain its existence on Elyria. We are in search of people who wish to live peacefully as well as people of trades seeking to breed or farm. We are also in search of people that seek adventure or cartographers to venture forth and seek animals and plants of rare breed out in the wild.
Stories of old mention the land we stand on was once beautiful beyond belief covered in ancient trees that glowed, flowers of such beauty we can’t imagine them, grass as far as the eye could see and animals we can only now imagine grazed on these lands but it was all destroyed. It is said that the fires of Daemon scorch these lands, thousands of species… Dead… A time we now know as the Burning. The land healed over time the trees grew, animals grazed and grass once again covers the land but the scars remain. Untold number of creatures died wiped from the face of the planet never to be seen again.
My great grandfather spoke of a time he stood on the peak of a mountain and looked out to the land below him. He claims that what he saw scared him, a force so powerful none could stop it. A force that will once again destroy the land before him… he spoke of Mann. From the mountain he could see the spread of mann, the destruction it left in its wake. He walked down from the mountain and started working on a idea. A organisation dedicated to protect as many species of animals as possible. The people thought him a fool.. but he persisted.. His efforts paid off near the end… He gathered like minded people and the organisation started to flourish.
My family has been looking over the Academy of Life ever since, it grew and with it so did the animals and people within. The destructive nature of mann will not destroy this world, the Academy and its followers will work to bring life to this world and save the creatures that live on it for that is our wishe..
Requirements to be a member of the Academy:
Must sign up to the Academy and agree to uphold its laws and the laws of the kingdom
Must at least spend time on duties for the Academy. If done online by the player or offline by the AI. These duties can range depending on the role the player has chosen from security to farming. These duties should not take a lot of time (if any) and should preferably be picked based on the choice of the players play style.
In case of failure to uphold their pledge, If a member of the Academy can not do what is required for them actions will be taken based on the reasoning behind the failure of their work.
The following are only examples and are not limited to the below appropriate actions will be taken for the situation given.
No penalties will be taken if:
Real life issues has prevented the player from playing.
The player has been having other issues in game that has prevented or blocked them from doing their duties.(Might be asked for some proof)
Light penalties will be taken if:
The player simply neglected their work.
Left the Academy and failed to inform someone resulting in loss of animal life or plant life.
Heavy penalties will be taken if:
The player breaks any of the Academy laws of protection.
If it is evident that a player has deliberately undermined or damaged a relationship with a trade partner or ally regardless of connection to the academy.
Acts regarding Guilds and Organisations:
The Agreement of operating a Guild:
Depending on the Guild type some restrictions may apply but in most cases there will be no restrictions.
Military Guilds:
Military guilds can not be formed in the Academy if the guild leader is not a member of the Academy. You will require consent from the Head of the Academy, and the Kingdom.
Adventuring Guilds:
Adventure guild’s are free to form in the Academy with no preset limitations in place. If the guild supplies the Academy with a service the guild could request assistance of a verity from the Academy. Acceptances of this request will be taken on a case by case bases. You will require consent from the Head of the Academy.
Profession Based Guilds:
Guilds based around a specific profession such as Smithing, Farming or Carpentry are always welcomed in the Academy and will be assisted by the Academy if they guild requires any. You will require consent from the Head of the Academy.
Merchant Guilds:
Merchant Guilds are free to form in the Academy and the Academy will assist these guilds in matters of trade if the guild wishes to have the assistance. You will require consent from the Head of the Academy.

The Agreement of operating an Organisation:
The Academy will not be looking for organisations but we will remain open to the idea. If you wish to run a organisation as part of the Academy please feel free to send Anastasia Darmur a direct message and we can talk it over.
The Agreement of land for use of Academy Members:
Direct members of the Academy will have access to discounts when it comes to trading, land and reductions in tax depending on situation and need for discounts. They can also have less restrictions placed upon them once part of the academy for at least two real life week's.
Acts for Protection
Protection of Animals:
Animals in the Academy will be protected by the Academy, failure to uphold any of the Academy’s laws will result in severe punishment of either payment or imprisonment depending on the severity of the action taken.
The types of animals that will be found in the academy will vary from farm animals to wildlife. The aim of protecting these animals is to prevent the extinction and/or harm to the livelihood of the species outside of the Academy grounds. Animals that are not handled by humans directly should always be assumed dangerous and handled with care. Failure to do so could risk serious injury or death.
Acts that will result in punishment:
Needlessly Injuring or harming any animal in any way.
Theft of animals that do not belong to you or your organisation.
Acts that won’t result in punishment
If an animal is attempting to injure or kill another creature or Human. Exceptions are made for predatory animals they are to be left alone unless endangering human life or stock animals.
Protection of Plants:
Types of plants may vary from location to location. In the case a plant cannot survive in a climate provided by the Academy we will attempt to find a place as to where the plant can grow and have Academy members living in an area near by. The zone will be considered Academy ground in the case of offense committed in the area.
Plants in the Academy will be protected by the Academy failure to uphold any the Academy laws will result in severe punishment of either payment or prison depending on the severity of the act.
Acts that will result in punishment:
Needlessly destroying or damaging plants of value or crops.
Protection of Players from PVP:
The Academy will supporting a non-aggression pact. All players on Academy grounds will obey by this law or take severe punishment. The zone of this non-aggression pact will enforced in any area owned by the Academy itself.
Act of PvPing:
The Academy understands not everyone wants to play PVE all the time or at all, we are also aware that we will need these players to help maintain the peace on Academy grounds in the long run.
In return for assisting to protecting the Academy we will be supplying players who wish to PVP with basic equipment, training areas and regular jobs of PVP orientation. These jobs could range from protecting a caravan, bounty hunting, or defense of siege.
If no such jobs are available or lacking the Academy will host events for the PVP community ranging from gladiator arenas to hunger game events. Prizes will be awarded at these events depending on the style of the event, prizes will range in value.
The Academy will protect a player in the non-aggression zone.
Unless:
A bounty hunter brings a warrant, The player of the warrant will be handed over to the bounty hunter. In the case a player refuses to leave peacefully the Academy security will deal with it as well as be free to do as they see fit to incapacitate the player if the need arises.
The Academy will hand over war target of the kingdom if that war target is located inside the Academy.
The player is a wanted target in the Academy itself.
Protection of Players from Griefing:
The Academy protect players from griefers to the best of its ability. Due to the nature of griefing only the leader of the Academy will have the final say on the punishment. Anyone found guilty of the act of griefing will be removed from any position of power or property they might own within the Academy.
The following acts are all examples of provocations (not all provocations are listed), but are only considered griefing when performed consistently or repetitively with the intention of degrading another player’s gaming experience:
Assault:
Intentionally Causing harm to a Player Character.(Duels not counting)
Arson:
Setting another Player’s property on fire, or lighting a fire that could cause damage to player property.
Robbery:
Taking private property with use of force or threat of force.
Theft:
Stealing private property from another player
Physical Harassment:
Any physical contact with another player that is unwelcome. Examples may include (but are not limited to) blocking someone’s path, pushing a player to an undesirable location, or causing harm to a Player Character
Verbal Harassment:
Performing verbal or gestural actions or using in-game communication to intentionally insight anger or annoyance.
Criminal Trespass:
Entering or remaining on another Player Character’s privately owned property without the owner’s consent.
Vandalism:
Damaging another Player Character’s private property.
Academy Trade Act:
Using the Academy in trade as a seller:
The Academy will offer physical assistance to anyone wishing to sell good in its lands. This will insure the seller protection incase of theft or misdealings. The Academy will take control of the goods for sale and hold on to it. If the goods are sold the Agreed amount will be given to the seller, in the case the goods do not sell they will be returned to the seller.
If the Academy is overseeing sales for a member of the Academy:
The academy will not take a cut of the sales
Theft of products from buyers will be reimbursed in full
Damage to goods due to negligence by the Academy will be reimbursed in full
Loss or misplacement of goods by the Academy will be reimbursed in full
If the Academy is overseeing sales for a group that is not affiliated with the Academy:
The academy will take a cut of the profit (amount to be discussed with seller)
Theft of products from buyers will be reimbursed in full
Damage to goods due to negligence by the Academy will be reimbursed in full
Loss or misplacement of goods by the Academy will be reimbursed in full
Using the Academy in trade as a buyer:
The Academy will offer assistance to anyone wishing to buy good in its lands. This will insure the buyer protection in case of the sale of faulty products and or misdealings.
If the Academy is overseeing purchase of goods for a member of the Academy:
The Academy will simply act as a middleman at this point making sure the the product is worth the price and be delivered to the buyer.
The Academy will refund the buyer in the case the product was defective and the Academy failed to notice
The Academy will not be providing this service for anyone outside the Academy
Trading with Trade Partners of the Academy:
In the event the Academy member receives faulty products from a Trade Partner the Academy will refund the money for the product and have it returned to the Trade Partner for a new product. If the buyer still wishes to have the product the Academy will sell it back to the member for the original agreed price.
Trading outside the Academy:
Any Trades done with guilds or organizations outside the Academy that are not trade partners or Academy members will be done at the player's own risk. If cheated or given faulty products the Academy will not cover the expenses or assist the player in any way.
