Fort Schöneu (Shoon-oy) is the military backbone of Cairnwater County. We also are dedicated to the mastery of our trades, specifically stone and metalworking. Whether you are a gatherer, a producer or a sword for hire, our stronghold will strive to build a strong client/customer relationship with you, serving to secure and stable economy. By maintaining a variety of trade schools and skilled labourers, our focused output of raw materials and crafted goods makes our stronghold a merchant's paradise. In addition to supplying merchants with our goods, we will also be escorting caravans and patroling the county's roads to keep them clear of danger.
Merchant -- To sustain our booming economy, we will need a steady supply of resources and goods. While we have been offered a good position within our county, we obviously won't have access to everything we need. With us, you will receive a steady income should you choose to supply our constant demand for materials. But, our stronghold strives to be among the highest quality producers of goods as well. Eventually, we would like to see our products sought after across the Ashlands and all of Elyria!
Adventurer -- Access to the finest forges Cairnwater has to offer. We will help you maintain and repair any equipment used along your journeys. A hub to sell the rare and unique materials that you have acquired from across the dangerous lands of Elyria. In your downtime, we will also be in need of private contractors to protect our shipments of goods, and keep our county's roads safe. We are also a short journey away from Bridgestone, for those wishing to indulge in the rich culture of the Haverlands.
Tournament Fighter -- Train at our barracks. As the centre of Cairnwater's military, we have ample facilities and mentorship to help you hone your skills as a fighter before taking part in the tournaments hosted on our county's capital, Bridgestone.
Crafter -- Schöneu has been given top priority in Cairnwater regarding access to mines and quarries. As such, you will find a ready supply of the materials required to perfect your trade. As a military stronghold we will ensure that you can work without fear of banditry, and acquire a steady supply of crafted goods, giving you something to always work towards. We plan to work towards securing large scale contract jobs both around the Haverlands and abroad!
Apprentice -- We have a number of small trade schools to help you jump-start your profession and to provide you the opportunity to earn money as you learn by selling your creations to the local merchants!
Resource Gatherer -- While our location has not been decided, and nobody knows specifically which resources they will have access to, we have been given priority to settle near an ore deposit if possible. Cairnwater is a county of rivers and lakes as well though, and fishermen, farmers, and other gatherers will find safety under our watchful gaze.
