Glad someone asked the question was wondering myself. More curious as to how much time is left from now to alpha 1. So I could find which pack to put on layaway.

Just so you are aware. At the 1st of July you can't make any new layaways. But if you have one before then, you can keep taking your time paying it off. You can also still out right buy whichever pledge you want.
I suggest that something like this thread is put as sticky, since questions like this appear almost daily. It would be nice to newcomers to have some answers avaliable on the spot. Just sayin...

Yeah, we're closer. About three months closer, but a playable game is still a long ways away. Caspian gives us an updated development timeline in his State of Elyria update.

Shouldn't the news contain the "State of Elyria" post? In my mind that's the biggest news.

I'm a little worried about the lack of updates. There hasn't been a meaningful one well over a month. I think I was just spoiled with the weekly ones, but still.
