Open forum Q&A on Saturday October 8th at 7PM CST on Vornair Discord !
If you have any interest in joining a extremely stable group, who historically are the theory-crafters for most games and plan on building that same type of environment for everyone in the Duchy and Kingdom of Vornair to benefit from, this is the place for you.
If you are interested in PvP there will be no better place for you than one of the branches of our military, or as a mercenary group who gets contracted by our Kingdom. We have the players who strive to find out the best techniques, cadence, and tactics when it comes to defense or offense. We are the guys and gals who actively go into games and develop the guides and theory around things, be they combat, strategy, crafting, skill ramping, and the like.
Additionally as far as story goes, you can see by our wiki links in the post above, we are building a story. This Duchy is not a heavy RP environment, we do have Duchies in Vornair for that but the Rhynelands is not one of them. We will have events, tournaments, symposiums, moots, and the like and at these events we will ensure there is an RP environment so that those players have a reason to attend. We have our lore, our stories and our aesthetics however we want you, the player, to have full control over your own story, and not feel forced into any type of RP or story that is not yours. Heck, I don't even want to force you to have a story, if you are strictly a min/maxer who is looking for a home, we are your place.
Additionally we build to be a tight knit group, the people of our Duchy and our Kingdom play games together now, we create communities in games and enjoy our time playing and building camaraderie together. So come and hang out, see what we have to offer.
Looking forward to working with you King Evelake.

Welcome to our newest Thane:
Held by: Thane Rowan of the Mountain
Welcome to the Draugr Fleet for all ye scurvy lily-livered codfish!
The Draugr Fleet is a salty group of liquid courageous sailors, drunk master crafters, and tactically brilliant inebriated pirates. In real life the majority of us are a group of salty sailors looking to mix our real life experience with our PvP game experience. Ocean exploration and domination of the waterways is our main goal. There will not be a more feared group on the high seas nor a more secure way to travel on the water than with our fleet.
While Adam Burrfoot only has 4 Thane slots remaining, I am looking to merge a second duchy into the Rhynelands and will be looking for an additional 20 counts, and a whole slew of additional Barons. Please contact the original poster, or join our discord (in the original post) and reach out to High King Evelake Rhyne or High Queen Asami Verdonne Rhyne.
I see you up there, Raymond.
"You go, we go."
Congrats to our newest Counts, leaving us with 2 Thane slots for the first Duchy and another 20 still available for the 2nd Duchy.
If you are a Count, or Baron and you are interested in getting set up in an extremely stable Duchy and an even more stable Kingdom please feel free to reach out to myself either here or in our Kingdom Discord.
Additionally here are some new videos of myself, Cyneric, and Morbis doing or thing on The Town Crier:
After deliberations between Freelancer , myself, the Queen, our advisors and the Thanes of the Round in the Rhynelands we have achieved an understanding that luckily for us it was more just getting a mutual understanding of what Vornair is and what Legacy is looking to do, and it ended up being an easy pairing that is mutually beneficial.
We get a unified and experienced PvP group that can act as a center point for campaigns set forth by the Rhynelands. Additionally, we get the benefit of Legacy’s proven systems that they have used in a number of games and throughout their history. We also gain some extremely experienced PvP leadership for the forces of the Rhynelands that are happy to offer their expertise and training to anyone in the Kingdom at large. Legacy historically has been known for mastering large-scale PvP. Naturally the largest benefit we will gain is a very sudden change from having the blueprint of a military that was in need of being filled with willing participants, to having a very well populated military in the Rhynelands that will attract others to fill the militaries in the other Duchies as well.
Legacy also holds their belief that sharing their tactics and training doesn’t hurt them over all, instead it makes the environment more competitive. Vorn of all levels will be encouraged to attend their training events if they wish to. These aren’t silly events led by individuals reading off of scripts, but specialties covering psychology, brevity training, small-group coordination, and much more. Legacy takes a lot of pride in their organization skills, and would love to share those skills with anyone in Vornair who is interested. Even if you are not a PvP-type, this training can be quite entertaining and very useful.
Legacy’s biggest benefits will come in having an “oversight” when it comes to the production and supply trains for the armies they train and move, as well as having the leadership of Vornair handle other non-PvP associated tasks such as politics. After numerous votes and discussions, the overarching goal of focusing more on PvP (defense and offense) and less on other things, is a huge benefit for Legacy’s members.
Vornair also offers an environment for those of Legacy who are less excited for the PvP side of the house, they are able to easily merge into those environments that are right for their desired game play without the core of Legacy having to build up those environments for them. The flexibility and autonomy provided to the Kingdom allows anyone to play the way that they wish, if there isnt an environment currently suited to your play style, create one and see it supported.
Overall the decision for Legacy to join Vornair was an easy one once it was realized that the goals on either side are very much aligned and amicable. The pairing will serve to work well for both parties for their CoE chapters. Additionally, in the time between now and the launch of CoE the Vornair community will get some fantastic practice in jumping into games and playing together as one.
Clearly our Kingdom’s motto continues to prove out it’s truth:
